Digital assets carry significant risk. UNC tokens may lose value, may prove difficult or impossible to sell, and may end up worth nothing. Never commit money you cannot afford to lose.

1. No financial or investment advice

Nothing on this website, in the UNC mobile app, or in any material we publish constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, nor a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. We are not your broker, adviser or fiduciary.

Consider taking independent advice from a qualified professional in your jurisdiction before making financial decisions.

2. No guarantee of value or returns

UNC tokens are not a currency, security, deposit or investment product, and they are not backed by any government, central bank or physical asset. We make no promise that UNC will ever have a market price, be listed on any exchange, be convertible into any other currency, or retain any value it may have at some point.

Mining rates, reward structures, referral bonuses and any figures shown in the app are subject to change and are not a commitment to future earnings. Tokens accrued through mining have no guaranteed monetary worth.

3. Volatility and loss

Digital asset markets are highly volatile and can move sharply in short periods. Losses may be rapid and total. Past performance, where it exists at all, does not indicate future results.

4. Availability of the service

The UNC app and website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may be added, changed, suspended or withdrawn, and the service may be unavailable during maintenance or because of circumstances outside our control.

5. Security of your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials, PIN and recovery passphrase secure. Your recovery passphrase is not stored on our servers by design, which means we cannot recover it if you lose it, and access to your balance may be permanently lost.

We will never ask for your password, PIN or passphrase. Anyone who does is attempting to defraud you.

6. Regulatory status

The regulation of digital assets differs by country and is changing. UNC does not hold a financial services licence in every jurisdiction where the app may be downloaded, and certain features may be unavailable to you depending on where you live.

You are responsible for ensuring your use of UNC is lawful where you are. If it is not, you must not use the service.

7. Taxes

You are solely responsible for determining and meeting any tax obligations arising from acquiring, holding, transferring or disposing of digital assets. We do not provide tax advice and do not file on your behalf.

8. Third-party content and links

We may link to third-party sites and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, security or practices. A link is not an endorsement.

9. Forward-looking statements

Statements about our roadmap, planned features or intentions describe what we hope to do, not what we guarantee. Plans change, timelines slip, and features are sometimes abandoned. Do not rely on them when making decisions.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UNC and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for loss of profits, tokens, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Impersonation and fraud

Be alert to accounts, groups and websites impersonating UNC. We do not run token giveaways, we do not ask you to send funds to "unlock" a balance, and we do not solicit payment for support. Official communication comes from unctech.co addresses only.
