UNC runs on Android 7.0 and above, which covers the overwhelming majority of phones in use. Older devices are supported as well as recent ones.
The iOS build is in progress. The Android app is live on Google Play today, and this page will carry the App Store link as soon as the iPhone version is released.

Google Play shows the exact download size for your device on the listing page. Mining data lives on the network rather than on your phone, so the app does not grow significantly as you use it.
